Events
April is Creation Care Month and this Sunday, April 21 we will celebrate Earth Day. Help us to restore and care for this beautiful earth God has blessed us with. We will be participating in an “April Litter Sweep” event in cooperation with “Keep Rutherford County Beautiful.” We will be picking up litter on Thursday, April 18 from 9-11 and on Saturday, April 20 from 9-11. If the weather is inclement, we will move to a date later in the month. We will meet at the Fellowship Center at 8:30 each day for our prayer and supplies handout. We will have coffee and snacks available. The terrain on Saturday will be more accessible to children than the one on Thursday to make sure that everyone can participate. Please email Chele Mills at chelemills4@gmail.com to sign up, so we will know how many supplies we need.
Pastor In-Yong will go to the General Conference in Charlotte after today's worship services and stay there through May 3. Reagan Clark will preach next Sunday, April 28. Please pray for the General Conference.

We need an additional bus driver for the youth group. Do you already have or would you be willing to obtain a CDL bus license? The church would pay the fees for anyone interested in volunteering to get CDL bus license and drive for youth activities.
Our Easter Mission collected $1,073! This money went to the Path Shelter. Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Easter Mission.
The Endowment Committee of our church plans to make a distribution for 2024 of the earnings of our funds. We are asking our church to submit any requests for funds for special projects within their group. Please keep in mind that Endowment Funds may only be used for missions, building maintenance, etc. of the church, parsonage, and the church’s properties. The funds may also be used for scholarships for those interested in studying for the ministry and for other special mission initiatives. The funds cannot be used for any budgetary items.
Thank you for your cooperation in advance and if you will, please submit your requests to the Endowment Chair, Charles Yelton at Post Office Box 1520, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. We would appreciate having these requests by Monday, May 20, 2024.
